The Catalan dance company Mal Pelo presents this show based on the musical proposal Goldberg Variations/Variations by the French-American pianist and composer Dan Tepfer, in which he interprets the famous Goldberg Variations by J.S. Bach combined with his improvised variations on the same harmonies.
Dance, John Berger's poems, some of his own texts, the manipulated and multifocal sound of the soundtrack, live vocals and video projections come together to build this approach to the Bach universe.
After presenting the show Bach by María Muñoz around the world, On Goldberg Variations / Variations is the second stage proposal of the Bach Project, a trilogy that focuses on the study of Bach's music and its relationship with choreographic writing.
With the direction of María Muñoz and Pep Ramis, it is performed by Zuriñe Benavente, Jordi Casanovas, Enric Fàbregas, María Muñoz, Federica Porello, Pep Ramis and Zoltàn Vakulya.
