The festival of humor FesJajá 2016 continues with this sextet that pays tribute to popular American music of the twenties and thirties. The golden decades of dixie and swing those taking as main reference the mythical Boswell Sisters. They present their latest album, Stompin in joy.
The project, created in Sevilla in 2008, is driven by singer Paula Padilla and focuses on finding little known repertory but with high quality, both for their melodies as their lyrics.
The big band is composed by the trio of voices that make up Paula Padilla (contralto), Helena Amado (soprano) and Marcos Padilla (tenor), along with Matthias Comino (guitar manouche), American Camilo Bosso (bass) and Pablo Cabra (battery). Much rhythm, swing, ragtime and humor. The hopers have a large dance floor to enjoy in Son Amar.
