The cycle of concerts Cançons de la Mediterrània closes this current edition with this this sextet paying tribute to popular American music of the twenties and thirties. The golden decades of dixie and swing of which they take as a primary reference the mythical The Boswell Sisters.
The project is promoted by singer Paula Padilla and focuses on finding little known repertoire but of high quality, both for their melodies as his lyrics. His latest album is titled Shout, Sister! (2012) and is a tribute to all women of jazz.
