A physical journey about bonds: how “knots” sustain us, limit us and transform us
NUS is a contemporary dance piece created by Maya Triay and Mariona Jaume that focuses on the body and contact: intertwining as a place of tenderness, fragility, risk and trust. The work proposes a space where time stops being rigid and becomes perception (one of those pieces that are felt rather than “explained”).
✅ Why go
If you fancy a different (and very close) plan, the powerful thing here is seeing it in a small room: the piece works a lot on the intimacy and tension of the movement, and you leave with that feeling of “something moved me”, even though it doesn't have text.
❌ To keep in mind
It lasts about 50 minutes and is in a small room, so it is a good idea to arrive with time to enter calmly and enjoy from the beginning.

💡 Useful tip
If it is your first time with contemporary dance, go with the idea of “letting yourself go” with the image and the rhythm: you don't need to understand everything for it to work.
