Performance of this Majorcan group specialized in recovering the ancient tradition of the romancero popular of the Islands. They began 25 years ago rediscovering the musical culture of the Balearics, and later started the path of research that has led to the creation of original compositions as well as the adaptation of poems by Catalan authors.
Nou Romancer consists of Pere Rado (vocals, accordion), Miquel Àngel Bauçà (viola), Biel Jordà (guitars and buzuqui), Tolo Font (percussion) and Jaume Bueno (flute). Presents the themes of his new album, De cantar versos.
The concert is part of the en-viu 4t Tast d'Arts Escèniques de Sóller program.
