Noah Preminger is one of the most celebrated saxophonists and composers in the jazz scene today. His latest album, Before the Rain (2011) has received rave reviews from the New York Times and specialized publications like Jazz Times. This success is preceded by a triumphant debut in 2008 and a nomination for promising Artist of the Year in 2009, a prize awarded by the Jazz Journalists Association.
In this concert he presents himself with the quartet led by guitarist Ben Monder, one of the leading musicians in progressive jazz along with, Masa Kamaguchi on bass and Colin Stranahan on drums.
