Port Adriano Festival celebrates its tenth edition this summer, receiving for the first time on the stages of Mallorca the American musician, music producer, composer and guitarist Nile Rodgers. A legend in the world of music.
He has been recognized with several GRAMMY awards as a composer, producer and guitarist, expanding his music and popularity without limits. As co-founder of CHIC, Nile Rodgers pioneered a musical language that spawned hits like Le Freak and Good Times, which marked the beginning of hip-hop.
His work with CHIC and his productions for artists such as David Bowie (Let's Dance, 1983), Diana Ross and Madonna (Like a Virgin, 1985) have sold more than 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide, while his innovative collaborations with Daft Punk, Avicii, Sigala, Disclosure or Sam Smith reflect the avant-garde of contemporary music.
