The dancer and choreographer Carlos Miró presents in Can Monroig three performances in one night. Two of them could be seen last August in Alaro within ALART: The death of Socrates, with creation and choreography by Carlos Miro and performed by Nikki van der Hoorn, and Tango Rojo, created by and with choreography of Ramon Oller, interpreted by Rafa Rigo and directed by Carlos Miró.
The third, Joana i Maria, premieres now and has been created by the choreographer for this cultural space in Inca. It will be represented by his two daughters Julia and Martina Miro, in addition to Sarah Muñoz and Silvia Perez. It is accompanied with music by Arvo Pärt.
Joana i Maria is the story of two sisters who remember childhood moments while hiding in a bunker during a bomb attack. This is the second chapter of the trilogy that talks about war and death, the first part is Catherine i Biel.
