From the meeting between the singers Neila Benbey (Algiers) and Ibrahim Keivo (Armenia) with the Kurdish musician Gani Mirzo, the show Mediterranean Voices emerged, a unique and solidarity concert that they now present at Cançons de la Mediterrània 2024.
Mediterranean Voices is the continuation and part of the Dignity Road project, in solidarity with the refugee camps in Kurdistan and which was started by Gani Mirzo himself.
Mediterranean Voices offers us a journey through the music of the Mediterranean through Armenian, Kurdish and Algerian melodies and songs, seasoned with a certain Andalusian aroma.
