The festival Palma amb la Dansa 2015 presents this show of one of the most interesting dance companies of Italy today, Zappala Danza. It was founded in Catania in 1989 by Roberto Zappala and since 2001, it is the resident company of Scenario Pubblico.
In Palma amb la Dansa they participate with two shows, Oratorio per Eva and this Naufragio con spettatore (Shipwreck with spettatore). It focuses on the theme of migration, with references to Ulysses, shipwrecked and only survivor on the island of Alcinous, and current migrants crossing the Mediterranean. It is also inspired on the painting The Raft of the Medusa by Géricault and the essay of Blumberg Shipwreck with spectator.
