'My Personal Musical Journey'

With this proposal, the XL Deià International Music Festival celebrates the 30th anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera. It does this with a luxury guest, the American soprano Alba Rene Quezada, who for years participated in the legendary Broadway musical. She is accompanied  on piano byAlfredo Oyaguez Montero.

My Personal Musical Journey is a musical performance where the music of the two Americas is mixed with  theater and the anecdotes of a life and a friendship between two musicians.

The Deià International Music Festival has been held since 1978 in the music room of Son Marroig, one of the former properties of Archduke Luis Salvador in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca. It was created by the now defunct Patrick Meadows, jazz musician and poet, and his partner Stephanie Shepard. Since a few years, the artistic direction falls on the pianist Alfredo Oyagüez Montero.

It is dedicated to chamber music, although it also includes proposals for styles such as jazz or flamenco.
