Under the direction of Salvador Sebastià López, the Municipal Band of Palma celebrates this cycle of concerts held in different places of the city.
The first part of the program includes Viva Navarra (jota) of Joaquín Larregla, Navarra by Isaac Albéniz, Sweet home Chicago by T. Colley & W. Payne, and Georgia on my mind by Hoagy Carmichael, with Fran Català as saxo soloist.
The second part: I don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing of Duke Ellington, Glenn beats the Battle of Jericho by Jef Penders, and Poema sanférmico (descriptive poem), by José Vicente Egea.
