It is one of the 'face to face' that have marked history, the rivalry between Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri, who is widely accused of the death of the Austrian composer.
Now, the DaBraccio Quartet presents Mozart vs. Salieri. The music of discord, a musical story to comment on the entanglements and half-truths that are behind this famous enmity that inspired the opera Mozart and Salieri, by Rimski-Kórsakov, the short homonymous theatrical book written by Aleksandr Pushkin and for the play Theater Amadeus, by Peter Shaffer. He was also immortalized in the 1984 Milos Forman film Amadeus.
The DaBraccio quartet is made up of Scott Anderson García (violin), Albert Grimalt Oliver (violin), Jordi Romero Salvá (viola) and Joan Fiol Dols (cello). They are joined by Anna Vidal Bosch on flute, as a guest soloist.
