'Mozart en la logia'

The Corcucòpia trio offers this concert within the II Cycle of Classical Music Albercords. Formed by the classicists Sílvia Insa Llopis, Joan Sempere Donet and Rafel Caldentey Crego, they aim to discover and expand the repertoire for bassetto horns of Viennese classicism.

The program Mozart en la logia is made up of works by this composer, his companion Stadler and the great Valencian composer, the famous rival of the Salzburger, Martín i Soler.

Chamber music is, in this period, a reflection of the great musical manifestations of the times and, especially, of the opera. The program includes trios for horn di bassetto and fragments and arias from famous operas. Without forgetting that Mozart chooses this formation to escape from the frivolity and spectacular nature of other genres and writes pieces with an austerity very much in keeping with Freemason ideals.
