Tchekpo Dance Company presents in the festival Palma amb la Dansa 2015 this show in which three dancers from different backgrounds (Japan, Nigeria, Germany / Brazil) interpret their different relationships with water: a basic element of life, public property and a human right.
The company was founded in 1991 in France by the Beninese Tchekpo Dan Agbetou and in 1995 settled in Germany, where it enjoys the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Land of North Rhine Westphalia and the city of Bielefeld. Its style is strongly influenced by African dance and modern jazz.
