W.A.R.! (We Are Rockstars), the cycle which Mallorca Rocks dedicates to electronic music, begins with a big party in which protagonists are three great figures of the moment: Mistajam, Ms. Dynamite and Baauer.
The British Mistajam (Pete Dalton) is a famous DJ and presenter on BBC of Radio 1 and 1Xtra. His genres are house and UK Bass, a mixture of styles that is raging in the UK.
For his part, the American Harry Bauer Rodrigues (Pennsylvania, 1989), aka Baauer, has been producing music since the age of 13 and in 2012 achieved international fame with his song Harlem Shake. With influences from hip-hop and dance he is into bass trap music.
The evening continues with Ms. Dynamite, a British artist born in 1981 under the name Niomi Arleen McLean-Daley. In 2002, with her debut album A Little Deeper, she was awarded the Mercury Music Prize and triumphed at MOBO (Music of Black Origin) getting three awards: Best Single (for It Takes More), Revelation artist and Best British Performance of the Year in the UK.
