The City Council of Valldemossa, the Coll Bardolet Cultural Foundation and Maneu Galeria d'Art organize this exhibition with a selection of posters designed by the Catalan artist Joan Miró (Barcelona, 1893-Palma, 1983).
Throughout his long artistic career, Miró made many commissions for posters, most of them cultural. Two examples were his famous Aidez l'Espagne of 1937, during the Spanish Civil War, and many years later the logo for the promotion of tourism in Spain.
