In 2017, the Russian violist Mikhail Zemtsov, son of the composer Evgeni Zemtsov, participated in the XLI International Music Festival of Deià with the quartet he forms with his brother, his wife and his daughter. This year he returns to the festival program to perform with Alfredo Oyàgüez Montero on piano in a concert with works by Shostakovich, Schumann, Schubert and Piazzolla.
The International Festival of Music of Deià, with artistic direction by Alfredo Oyágüez Montero, is held from May 9 to September 19 with concerts in the Music Room of the Casa Museu de Son Marroig, one of the former properties of the Archduke Luis Salvador in the Serra de Tramuntana. From its terraces you can contemplate a spectacular sunset over the sea.
