The famous British pianist and composer, arrives at the cloister of Sant Domingo for the world premiere of Body Parts, a work composed by commission of the Festival de Pollença. Michael Nyman (Stratford, 1944), one of the most important representatives of minimalistic music is known for his collaborations with British film director Peter Greenaway and the New Zealander Jane Campion, director of The Piano (1993). Nyman was given a multiplatinum album with the music of this film.
In this concert premiere of the work Body Parts, he will be accompanied by the Australian opera singer Marie Angel, who has also worked in Greenaway films.
