Born in Cadiz, Merche Trujillo, composer and singer, has been in the music world for 10 years. Her best-known songs are Cal y Arena, Eras tú (Was it you) or Abre tu mente (Open your mind). Of this last song, Mario Vaquerizo did a version which he interpreted alongside Las Nancys Rubias.
The singer from Cadiz now presents her sixth album in Palma entitled Un mundo de colores (A world of colors), with themes in different styles enveloped by her unmistakable personality. It was produced by Sebastian Krys, who has contributed to the success of artists like Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan and Shakira, among others.
Un mundo de colores is a work in the key of pop. Ten songs including the advance single, Luna (Moon) show her breadth of influences. It combines avant-garde with classic, a taste of Antillean and Andalusian with jazz metals and electronic chords.
