The Fundació Mossèn Bartomeu Oliver, la Direcció General de Participació i Memòria Democràtica del Govern de les Illes Balears and the Ajuntament de Sencelles organize the I Jornades Societat i Església des d'un Perspectiva Històrica, dedicated to the study of the relationship between the church and democratic memory These days are held on April 5 and 6 at the Casal de Cultura Can Garau de Sencelles.
The program has the participation of local historians and others from research fields: Antonio César Moreno Cantano (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), Fra Valentí Serra de Manresa, Miguel Ángel Dionisio Vivas (Escola de Magisteri ESCUNI), Manel Suárez Salvà (Col·lectiu Recerca), Josep Amengual i Batle (Congregació dels Missioners dels Sagrats Cors), Bartomeu Garí Salleras (UIB) and Margalida Capellà (journalist).
Round tables will be held and the documentary Les campanes tocaren a mort will be screened, with the presence of its director Antoni Capellà.
