Sa Boira returns to Greek tragedy with Medea, their 65th production. This version of Euripides, adapted by Ramón Irigoyen, follows the iconic staging by Núria Espert and Irene Papas in 1992. It emphasizes Medea’s driving traits: powerful, intelligent, passionate, vengeful… and a tormented mother who defies the gender norms of her era.
