Meaner Pencil is Lenna Pierce, a cellist and singer from New York with a very particular style influenced by blues, post-punk and the romantic opera. Her latest album, Senza Amanti, was considered Album of the day in March 2015 by a New York radio station.
The mysterious and ethereal voice of Lenna, accompanied by the melancholy tones of the cello, describes the sometimes heartbreaking, everyday struggles of life.
