Bojum Theatre stages this adaptation of La Mastication des morts, a text by French playwright Patrick Kermann (1950-2000). This is the chronicle of an imaginary village where the inhabitants of the cemetery speak.
The dead emerge from the earth and with difficulty they recover breathing, movement, and the word to become the collective memory of the society of which they have been part, which leads them to recreate their childhood, parties, dances and songs.
Directed by Montse Bonet, Masticació is interpreted by Laura Calvet, Roger Casas de Matos, Juan Herrero, Albert Mèlich, Ilona Muñoz, Mercè Sancho de la Jordana and Estitxu Zaldua.
