Martin Simpson

The headliner of the third edition of the Folk You! Festival is the British Martin Simpson, who will perform at the Sala Petita of the Teatre Principal de Palma accompanied by Andy Cutting on the accordion.

Simpson is currently the most prominent artist in the Anglo-Saxon circuit of folk music, as evidenced by his 27 nominations in 15 years of the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk awards, or that the very Jackson Browne, who collaborated in the recording of the album Never Any Good (2007), consider him one of the three best guitarists of all time.

The Mallorcan Joana Gomila will open the evening with her band Folk Souvenir.
