After ten years leading the legendary band Ojos de Brujo, Marinah began her solo career and in 2013 published El baile de las horas (The dance of the hours). Now she takes the stage with the guitarist reference of Catalan flamenco in a show that they have called Rumba y cosas (Rumba and things).
In this proposal, Marinah and Juan Gómez 'Chicuelo' experiment with adapting and mixing lyrics, rhythms and melodies, but always with the flamenco guitar as a link. A seamless travel through rumba as a concept of reunion and improvisation in which will also sound the music of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, García Lorca's poetry or the popular habanera Mi Madre fue una mulata (My mother was a mulatto).
They will be accompanied by Marco Mezquida (piano), Javi Martin (bass) and David Dominguez (drums).
