'Mariano Navares. Aniversario (1998-2018)'

With this extensive exhibition, the Burgos artist Mariano Navares celebrates his twenty years residing in Estellencs (Malorca). The exhibition is presented in different locations and reviews the artist's two decades of sculptural activity in this small corner of the Serra de Tramuntana Mallorquina.

Following a special itinerary, you can visit representative works of the different stages of artistic creation of Mariano Navares between 1998 and 2018. An audiovisual presentation with interventions by local people, friends and other connoisseurs of the artist's work will show how Estellencs has lived in these years the presence of sculpture in its public space.

The exhibition opens on July 14 with a big party in the town square with music, a snack offered by the City Council of Estellencs and a spectacular projection mapping.

The exhibition is organized by the TAdEX Association (Estellencs Sculpture Workshop) and is sponsored by the Culture Department of the City Council of Estellencs. This association, together with others at the state level, aims to promote artistic activity in rural areas.
