For a long time, the singer Maria del Mar Bonet and the composer, musician and vocalist Borja Penalba share scenarios and weave musical complicities that they now present in a new album-book, Maria del Mar Bonet amb Borja Penalba, en directe (2021), recorded in the Teatre Micalet in Valencia.
The repertoire includes new and unpublished songs, as well as revisiting the essential songbook by the Mallorcan singer that inspired her recent show Saba de terrer, dedicated to the legacy of Pare Rafel Ginard.
The concert, in trio format with the accompaniment of the percussionist Antonio Sánchez, is part of the La lluna en vers festival of the Fundació Mallorca Literària and is organized in collaboration with the Fila U festival at the Teatre Principal in Palma and the BarnaSants Festival 2021.
