An intimate show to remember the life and work of Guillem d'Efak, singer and writer in Catalan born in Equatorial Guinea in 1929. At age three he settled in Mallorca and from 1964-1980 lived in Barcelona, returning after that to the island where he died in 1995.
This project by Marcel Pich (1986) is a tribute to the songs of this eclectic artist, a key figure in the Nova Canço and symbol of mallorquinidad. Pich is an expert on the work of d'Efak, who has adapted his work with the folk-rock group Taverners.
