Marcel Cranc is the stage name of the Mallorcan composer Miquel Vicensastre, which opens the musical cycle of the peoples of Pla de Mallorca Es Pla perfecte. His latest album is Despertar (Awakening), the first sung entirely in Castilian. A work that stands out for the simplicity of a hypnotic and full of feeling songs.
In Despertar, Marcel Cranc has sought to pay tribute to the authors and groups that have accompanied him in his life story as Talk Talk, Elliot Smith or Léo Ferré, among others.
