Man Ray's adoration for dance is not well known. In fact, he studied dance and those who saw him say that he was a great dancer, with personal and elegant ways. The choreographers Meritxell Barberá and Inma García, who have always been fascinated by the work of the American photographer, propose this research work that aims to reflect on the implicit dance in the images generated by Man Ray.
This production by the Valencian company Taiat Dansa transcends the work of the iconic surrealist photographer to focus on the fetishistic relationship he had with his muses; and, by extension, in all relationships between male artists and their female models.
Man Ray is played by Valentina Staltari, Vicente Sales, Daniel Rodríguez, Adrián Ros, Joel Mesa, Carlos Roncero, Mauricio Pérez and Théo Vanpoperinghe. Recommended age: from 12 years.
