Two bands that arrive from across the Atlantic and one from Mallorca are the line-up of the new appointment with Mallorca Roots Festival.
The Portorican Calle 13, led by Rene Perez, is number one in Latin America, winner of 24 Grammy awards and with millions of fans worldwide. For its part, the Jamaicans Skatalites is a legendary band creator of ska and a major influence in the history of reggae.
The Mallorcan representatives are Rumba Katxai, with its strong sound mixing rhythms fused with the African-American tradition.
