In the 90s, writer and journalist Carlos Garrido published Mallorca mágica (Magical Mallorca), a book in which he collected legends (ancient and contemporary), traditions and popular beliefs. The book now serves as the basis for the new show of this prolific storyteller.
Mallorca màgica opens in the best of frames, Can Balaguer, the old house of the eighteenth century recently rehabilitated. The actor Joan Biniloni is the protagonist of six episodes that evoke the most telluric mysteries and traditions. Disturbing stories, but also fun and thoughtful.
Mariona Forteza is in charge of music and Carlos Garrido is explaining the historical context.
