He is one of the most revolutionary saxophonists of modern music. If Maceo Parker had not been part of James Brown's JB Horns during the 60s, now we probably would not even know what funk is.

And if in the seventies he had not established with George Clinton the foundations of the breakthrough P-Funk, now he would not be the most sampled musician in the history of hip-hop. With 75 years of age and a recipe of 2% jazz and 98% funk, Maceo Parker, or simply 'the teacher', as Prince named him, visits Port Adriano with his album It’s all about love, the first one of the studio he publishes in over decade.
