Jorge Leon (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1970) is one of Spain's most internationally renowned tenors. He has won such prestigious singing awards as the Giacomo Aragall or the José Carreras.
Since 2004 his career has been meteoric and he has sung in the most important theaters in Europe. In 2010, following a substitution at the Teatro Real in Madrid, in the opera Andrea Chénier, the doors were opened to him to sing with conductors like Lorin Maazel and Zubin Mehta.
In the Teatre Principal de Palma, Jorge de León will have the participation of mezzo Belen Elvira and pianist Juan Antonio Alvarez Parejo.
