Luz Casal at the Tower of Canyamel

The Galician singer returns to the Mallorcan stages with an intimate concert of piano and voice. Luz Casal is one of the most valued soloists of our country. After her success in Spain in the 80s, she acquired international fame, particularly in France, after playing two songs (Piensa en mi and Un año de amor) for the soundtrack of the movie Tacones Lejanos by Pedro Almodovar.

In February this year began a tour presenting his album Un ramo de rosas  (2011), a compilation with three new songs that scenarios has led by Serbia, Spain, France and Mexico. On June Luz Casal received his first award as a composer, the Sesac Latina Icon Award in a ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

The only concert in Mallorca is now offering the benefit of the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer Baleares (Aspanob).
