Luísa Sobral is one of the most important singer-songwriters of the new generation of Portuguese musicians. In 2011 she debuted with The Cherry on My Cake, an album that was very well received by the public and critics. She continued with a series of recording works with illustrious guests such as Jamie Cullum, António Zambujo, Mário Laginha, Raul Refree, Joe Henry, etc.
In 2017, she composed Amar pelos dois, performed by her brother Salvador Sobral. The fraternal association is a success: Portugal achieves its first victory in Eurovision.
Luísa expands her creative horizons again in 2020 with the release of Tudo lo que no estar, a single with the singer Zahara, and premieres O Avesso da Canção, a podcast in which she talks with big names in Portuguese music about the art of composing.
Exploring the terrain of solar pop, DanSando is her latest album: an intimate and personal work, but also socially conscious and involved, full of luminous songs.
Luísa Sobral, vocals and guitar, is accompanied by Manuel dos Reis Rocha, vocals and guitar.
