Lucía Martínez & The Fearless

Galician drummer and percussionist Lucía Martínez is one of the most restless jazz artists on the Spanish jazz scene. Since her debut in 2008 of her as the leader of her own quartet and the album Soños e delirios, Lucía Martínez has not stopped being involved in the most diverse projects. Now she is performing at the 27th Mallorca Jazz Sa Pobla accompanied by her Berlin quintet The Fearless.

Lucía Martínez & The Fearless (2020) is the new album of this latest project, which shows the artist in one of her best creative moments. The album is a journey of movies and fantasy, a kind of tribute to interstellar worlds or the Far West visited by filmmakers such as the Italian Sergio Leone, the great Marlene Dietrich or Bruce Lee.

Half of the proceeds from the concert will go to the Associació Llar de Memòria.
