This German Emsemble of viola da gamba opens the XXXVII International Music Festival of Deià. An edition that joins to the commemoration in 2015 of the first centenary of the death of Archduke Luis Salvador, the Austrian nobleman in love with Mallorca, who was the owner of Son Marroig, where the concerts of the festival are traditionally held.
Lord Grey's Delight is made up by Rosa Canyellas (viola da gamba bass), Torben Klaes (viola da gamba bass), Martina Binnig (viola da gamba alto) and Linda Laukamp (viola da gamba soprano). They offer a program that includes works from the XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries of composers like John Dowland, Thomas Tallis, Carl Friedrich Abel, John Jenkins and Marin Marais.
