Renou Col·lectiu organizes this concert by London Afrobeat Collective, a group formed in 2009 that is based in the English capital, although its nine members come from different parts of the world. Their style, how could it be otherwise, is Afrobeat, an invention of Nigerian musician Fela Kuti who fused Yoruba rhythms with funk and rhythm and blues.
In 2019 they released their third album, Humans, a collection of songs with highly socially conscious lyrics and a powerful rhythm section.
