The XXX Opera Season of the Teatre Principal de Palma programs from May 11 to 15 Il Barbiere di Siviglia, when it is the 200th anniversary of its release in 1816. Before there will be an introductory lecture by Victor Navarro Remesal entitled De la ópera bufa a la comedia pop: humor y puesta en escena de Il barbiere di Siviglia ( from opera buffa to pop comedy: humor and staging of Il barbiere di Siviglia). Navarro is doctor on Video Games and professor of CESAG , critic and expert on opera.
The XXX Opera Season also programs a family version of Il Barbiere di Siviglia on May 21 and 22.
