Pau Roca directs and interprets this adaptation of Every brilliant thing (original title in English), a luminous comedy by British playwright and director Duncan Macmillan that approaches depression from the point of view of a child who has become an adult.
The proposal of Les coses excepcionals is based on the narration and staging of the protagonist from his current position as an adult, but taking us to a moment in his childhood, with six years old and his mother in the hospital. The father tells him that he has done a stupid thing. He has a hard time being happy, so he begins to make a list of the exceptional things in this world, each of the things that make life worthwhile.
