Leonard Cohen plays Sterlin

A tribute concert to the musician, poet and novelist Leonard Cohen. Led by Adela Peraita and Steve Withers, Majorcan indie band recreates the Cohen songbook translating into Catalan some of his lyrics.

For this tribute Sterlin have chosen Songs of Love and Hate, an album released in 1971 and considered one of the most personal and emotional works of the Canadian singer. To complete the repertoire of the concert some of the biggest hits of the artist like Hallelujah and Suzanne, sung in English.

The work of Leonard Cohen, Prince of Asturias Prize for Literature 2011, has influenced three generations around the world through the creation of a sentimental imagery that blends poetry and music.
