This concert-tribute commemorates the centenary of the birth of one of the greatest Italian film directors of the 20th century, as well as a writer and poet, Pier Paolo Pasolini (Bologna, 1922-Lazio, 1975).
His works have always had a strong link with sound and music, and jazz allows exploring all the main elements of his philosophy.
Le Nuvole di Pier Paolo is the celebration through jazz music of the birth, life and philosophy of this important figure in Italy and in the world. A tribute, in a jazz key, given by an octet of outstanding Italian musicians who are now performing at the 2022 Palma Jazz Festival.
