L’Alba, ‘À principiu’

L'Alba is one of the main current references for popular music on the island of Corsica. On his new album, À Principiu, L'Alba's music, timeless and open to the world, takes on an increasingly Mediterranean orientation. It is one of the proposals of the new edition of the Cançons del Mediterrània festival.

L'Alba once again gives his work a prominent place in the Corsican musical scene, preserving the heritage of polyphonic voices, but incorporating new influences with a palette of sounds drawn from cultures in regions of the world such as North Africa, Italy, Greece, Portugal...

Alba's creative approach is guided by his willingness to accompany his songs with original arrangements with Mediterranean nuances, while remaining faithful to the age-old cultural tradition.

Thus, À Principiu, which in the Corsican language means at the beginning, represents for L'Alba the beginning of a new approach, a new artistic and human adventure.
