Dramatic reading of the memoirs of Louis Joseph Wagrè, one of thousands of French soldiers who were imprisoned on the island of Cabrera after the defeat of Napoleon's troops at the Battle of Bailen.
The horrors experienced by these soldiers between 1809 and 1814 (period of the captivity) are told in the first person by actor Rodo Gener, who tells us the terrible conditions they endured, disease, attempts to escape and even cases of cannibalism.
The dramaturgy is by journalist and writer Carlos Garrido and the story is accompanied by music of Mariona Forteza. L'infern de Cabrera (Cabrera Hell) is presented within the XIX Fira de Teatre de Manacor.
