'Kryptonita'

Kryptonite is the only thing capable of weakening Superman's indestructible powers. It is his vulnerability materialized in a precious mineral, as magnetic as it is lethal. Starting from this premise in the form of an allegory, the company La Permanent delve into the story of J and S, two young inpatients in a religious "sexual reorientation" center, led by Father Ignasi and Sister Àgueda.

J is an ardent tormented devotee convinced that temptation can be healed and defeated. S, on the contrary, will do everything possible to escape from that prison. The two have one thing in common: they want to get rid of the effects of their own kryptonites.

The play aims to delve into the debate between the positions and personal torments of both the inmates and the two ecclesiastical characters, and the praxis of reparative therapy and other alternative therapies through diverse theatrical languages ??and original dramaturgy.

Directed by Rebeca del Fresno and Pau Coya, who is also in charge of the dramaturgy, Kryptonita is performed by Adrià Vicens, Pau Pascual, María Marín and Pau Coya himself. Catalan language.
