Screening of the film Karen and subsequent discussion with its director, Spanish María Pérez Sanz.
Karen (2020), the second feature film by María Pérez, is an intimate, elegant and delicate account of the last years in Africa by Danish Karen Blixen, a free and adventurous woman who, under the pseudonym Isak Dinesen, published in 1937 the book Out of África.
The film, starring Christina Rosenvinge, especially narrates Blixen's particular relationship with her Somali servant Farah Aden.
