The young African-Canadian singer-songwriter Kaia Karter arrives in Palma by the hand of the cycle Women don't Wait within her European tour. A performance in format of acoustic duet, accompanied by Andrew Ryan on double bass.
Kaia Kater, who sings and plays the banjo, has in Appalachian music one of her main influences, which she studied in West Virginia. She debuted in 2015 with the album Sorrow Bound and in 2016 she published Nine Pin, a work in which she deepens into the realities faced by coloured people in America every day.
