Julio León, Mª José Ripoll and ‘Héroes’

The cultural center Can Gelabert hosts three exhibitions in its galleries: Trànsit / Transito with work of Julio León; Finestres conscients, paintings by Maria Luisa Ripoll, and Heroes.The authors of the Balearic Islands in American mainstream.

Heroes shows work of three Mallorcan cartoonists who work from their studios in Palma for major U.S. publishers of superhero comics. They are Paco Diaz, Guillem March and Tomeu Morey. The exhibition, which was shown at the last Comic Barcelona, includes thirty famous original series like X-Men, Wolverine or Catwoman.
